Which Major Streets are affected?

Because certain councillors requested it for their specific wards, Council approved the exclusion of specific Major Street segments from the new commercial permissions. These exclusions were actually written into the by-law (By-law 1509-2025).

Not all councillors had their requests to exclude certain streets allowed by council. For example, Councillor Stephen Holyday and Councillor Neethan Shan tried to exclude streets in their wards but council voted down his motion.
