Properties in “Neighbourhood Interiors” have some limitations, but on Major Streets the following businesses are now allowed to operate out of residential properties:

Outdoor patios are allowed as a right on front and side yards with all take-out and sit-down restaurants and all retail stores.

- Barbers
- Pet grooming
- Dry cleaners
- Fitness clubs and gyms

- Education uses
- Performing arts studios
- Artist studios
- Production studios
Office, education and health-related services can also be located on the second floor.
